14 July 2014 MRWED celebrated another successful year at their annual End of Financial Year Function. This year it was held at Brisbane’s Sofitel hotel. During the night MRWED CEO, Marc Ratcliffe revealed the company theme for the next 12 months which is “Saddle Up”. He explained that given that he spends half his time in the US (with his family based in Oklahoma), a cowboy inspired theme helped him to stay connected to his two “families”. During the night the best of the best were recognised. Geoff Cake and Blair Dunn were named as “Trainers of the Year”, Brooke Siddell won the award for “Best Admin” and also took out the coveted “ReMARCable Award”. Anne Hales and Val Jones were recognised with CEO medals and Damian Noud was acknowledged for his 10 years in the business.
