Marc Ratcliffe returned to Mali to deliver Trainer Training Workshops linked to the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to mine workers at Syama Mine, in the first two weeks of January. All the sessions were well received and there was significant skills development gained over the fortnight.

Marc said “it is always wonderful to be involved with international training as I think it pushes us professionally – it asks us to work outside our comfort zone and think outside the squares that often frame our regular training”. Further to this, “it pushes us to find new solutions to old problems and encourages us to challenge the status quo that can define our own training performance”, he said.
