Helen Dayman

Helen has 40 years of experience in small business across a range of industries – administration services, traffic control services, information technology, online marketing, publishing and as a coach/mentor for small businesses. Building on these experiences, Helen has worked in the legal profession specialising as a paralegal conveyancer, managing an internet provider and serviced office spaces.

A passion for training developed early, prior to our existing VET framework commencing over 30 years as a Trainer and Assessor. Helen designed, developed and delivered the first legal studies course, through two schools on Brisbane southside. To formalise her skills, Helen completed the first Train the Trainer and Advanced Train the Trainer at Mt Gravatt TAFE, later completing BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training up to the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and finally a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary and Adult Education with CQU.

Embracing education, Helen has continued her own learning path and expects to complete a MBA – Masters in Business Administration in 2024.

Helen’s passion for training has seen her deliver courses across her range of work experiences. Delivering traffic control training to civil construction organisations and local councils; skills training to indigenous communities; training, mentoring and coaching small businesses across a range of industries. Expanded her profile, Helen has designed and developed TAS, learning programs, learner guides, assessments and resources across a range of topic areas and RTOs.

It has been an exciting journey to also be part of new trainers’ learning journeys in completing their TAE qualifications over the last few years.  It is wonderful to now be part of the MRWED team to continue an evolving TAE journey.
