Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available to all MRWED students who can demonstrate that they already possess current skills and knowledge relevant to the qualification. Making an RPL application requires the students to complete an enrolment form and then provide evidence substantiating their claim for competency.

After reviewing the submitted evidence, a MRWED assessor will contact the participant with advice about whether or not the evidence satisfies the assessment requirements for each of the Units of Competency included in that qualification. If the provided evidence is sufficient, authentic, current and valid then the applicant will not be required to undertake any further training or assessment prior to issuance.

PRICE: $143.00 Subject to student eligibility

Using the MRWED online portal, eRPL students can quickly and easily upload their evidence to an assessor for review. Once reviewed, the MRWED Learner Success Team will provide feedback and any further guidance necessary.

MRWED also provides a manual alternative if you prefer not to submit your documentation electronically.

Payment Plans

Fixed fees, no interest or charges ever.

Payment plans are only offered to students who pay their own tuition fees. Payment plans are not available if a student is accessing funding.

Three-Month Payment Plan

You will receive three (3) invoices, payable at 7 days, 30 days and 90 days. There is no charge for this service. Payments can be made via EFT, direct deposit, credit card online, debit card online or PayPal.

Six-Month Payment Plans

You will receive one (1) invoice. Payments can only be made by EFT or direct deposit. Payments may be made weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Twelve-Month Payment Plans

Only available for fees over $1,000. You will receive one (1) invoice. Payments can only be made by EFT or direct deposit. Payments may be made weekly, fortnightly or monthly.


If you wish to commence a payment plan, please indicate your requirements (number of months and preference for payment frequency) via email when returning your Course Acceptance Letter.

Students are encouraged to request a payment plan at the time of application. However, these can be entered into at a later date should circumstances change.

Certificates and/or Statements of Attainment will not be issued prior to full payment of all tuition, establishment, and administration fees.

Funding options

MRWED Training and Assessment have partnered with VERTO Limited and Busy at Work for students who are eligible for assistance with funding.

Before applying to study at MRWED Training and Assessment, Students wishing to apply for assistance with funding must meet the criteria with one of these organisations and approach them directly on:

If you are successful in securing funding, then please follow the guidelines below.  If unsuccessful, please refer to our section on Payment Plans which may be of assistance.  

Payment plans are not available in conjunction with funding from VERTO Limited or Busy at Work.

VERTO Limited

Apply for funding through VERTO. If confirmed eligible then begin the MRWED application process. Please notify MRWED that you are receiving VERTO funding.

After your application for enrolment has been submitted, you will receive the following two documents from MRWED:

  1. Your Learning Journey
  2. Course Acceptance Letter


After reading and signing these documents please forward them to the following:

  1. MRWED Training and Assessment at clientservices@mrwed.edu.au
  2. Your Case Worker at VERTO Limited and 
  3. VERTO Finance finance@verto.org.au.

You will receive an invoice from VERTO Finance for your 50% co-contribution.  Please ensure this is paid quickly to avoid delays in your enrolment.

If the above process isn’t followed it may result in delays to your enrolment and or Training. 

Co-Contribution Invoice must be paid before the process will progress.

If you are receiving funding through VERTO you are unable to utilise Payment Plans through MRWED

Please do not fill in the organisational details on the Course Acceptance letter with your workplace details, this is where VERTO need to put their company details.

If your workplace has agreed to pay your co-contribution invoice, please discuss this with VERTO.

Busy At Work

Apply for funding through Busy at Work. If confirmed eligible then begin the MRWED application process. Please notify MRWED that you are receiving Busy at Work funding.

After your application for enrolment has been submitted, you will receive the following two documents from MRWED:

  1. Your Learning Journey
  2. Course Acceptance Letter
