14 June 2014 The 2014 Skills Conference was held on 2-3rd June at Wrest Point Conference Centre in Hobart. The 2014 theme was “Riding the wave – it’s all about…” and included speakers from across the country that represented an excellent mix of expertise relevant to vocational education and training. MRWED CEO, Marc Ratcliffe presented a keynote address on day 2 about Engaging Learners as well as a breakout session which provided practical things trainers could do to bring about engagement.
